eBay’s rules on multiple accounts
eBay says you can register multiple accounts and that many members do.[1] The conditions are:

Breaking these rules can lead to ended listings, lower search placement, lower seller ratings, restricted selling and account suspension.[1]
Good reasons to run more than one account
eBay gives these examples of acceptable reasons:[1]
- Buying and selling separately. Keep your personal purchases away from your shop.
- Different product lines. eBay’s own example is auto parts in one account and skincare in another.
- Different eBay sites. Run an account for eBay UK and another for a different country’s site.
Two more that sellers often give: keeping a business account apart from a private one for tax, and running a second brand with its own feedback.

The duplicate listings rule
This is the rule multi-account sellers break most often. eBay does not allow more than one fixed-price listing of an identical item at the same time from the same seller, and it lists “using different usernames” as one of the things that counts.[2]
In practice, each product should live in one of your eBay accounts at a time. Split your stock between accounts by product line or by site. Do not copy the same listing into both to get more exposure.
How eBay links your accounts
eBay treats your accounts as belonging to one seller. If one account falls to Below Standard, eBay says all your accounts may be affected, and it can become harder to raise selling limits on the others.[1]
So a second account does not give you a clean slate. Late dispatch or a run of bad feedback on one account can hurt the rest. Keep service standards the same across all of them.
