Can You Have Multiple Etsy Shops? Rules and Setup
Etsy lets you run more than one shop, with a separate account for each. Here are Etsy's rules, how to open a second shop, and how to manage several shops from one login.

Etsy’s rules for multiple shops
Etsy allows sellers to run several shops at the same time.[1] The rules are short:

How to open a second Etsy shop
Etsy’s own steps are:[1]
- On Etsy.com, open Your account and choose Sign out.
- Choose Sign in, then Register.
- Enter an email address that is not used by another Etsy shop, add your name and a password, and register.
- Follow the steps to open your shop.
- Add your other shop to the Public Profile of both accounts.
Keep a note of which email and password belong to which shop. Etsy points out that if you cannot find an order, you may be signed in to the wrong account. Most browsers only hold one Etsy sign-in at a time, so Etsy suggests using a different browser for each account.[1]

When a second shop makes sense
Etsy’s advice is that a second shop can be useful when you add a product line that is very different from your existing brand. For smaller differences, shop sections inside one shop may do the job.[1]
Sellers usually split for one of these reasons:
- Different buyers. Handmade jewellery and craft supplies attract different people. Each shop can speak to its own buyer.
- Different brands. A vintage shop and a print-on-demand shop look odd side by side.
- Cleaner reviews. Reviews for one product line stay with that line.
A second shop also means a second set of listings, messages, orders and fees to look after. Decide whether the new brand is worth that before you open it.
What gets harder with two shops
- Signing in and out. Etsy holds one sign-in per browser, so switching shops means switching browsers or signing out.
- Orders in two places. Each shop has its own orders, and it is easy to miss one while you are in the other account.
- Stock that also sells elsewhere. If the same stock is on eBay, Shopify or your own website, every sale has to be removed from the other places by hand.
Running several Etsy shops in FLUF Connect

2. Choose which shop each listing goes to
When you crosslist, each Etsy shop shows as its own destination. Send each product to the shop whose brand it belongs to.
3. Set rules per shop
Auto-listing rules can use a specific shop as the source or the destination. For example, new craft supplies added to Shopify can list straight into your supplies shop and stay out of your jewellery shop.
4. See one shop or all of them
Listings, Orders and Sync History each have a store filter. Look at one shop’s orders at a time, or all shops together, without signing in and out of Etsy.
5. Stop selling the same item twice

Selling beyond Etsy
