Sell on Multiple Marketplaces in Ireland — Vinted, eBay, Temu and More
The marketplaces an Irish seller can actually reach, what VAT and DAC7 mean for you, and why DoneDeal and Adverts.ie stay a manual job.

Who this guide suits
You sell from Ireland, price in euros, and want one catalogue feeding Vinted, eBay, Amazon.ie and the rest from one place. Every channel you can reach from Ireland, and what FLUF does after a sale
Two columns decide your workload. Sale detection: FLUF notices a sale on that marketplace and updates stock on your other channels. Removal: once FLUF knows an item has sold, it ends or zeroes the listing on that marketplace. An automatic clean-up needs detection where the item sold and removal where it is still live.

Vinted is the row that shapes an Irish seller’s day. A Vinted sale ends your eBay, Etsy, Depop and Amazon.ie copies. A sale on Amazon.ie, Square or Squarespace goes unnoticed by FLUF, so you mark the item sold there yourself and FLUF then clears it from the channels with removal. Relisting on eBay, Depop, Etsy, Vinted and Vestiaire Collective, plus offer management on eBay, Depop, Vinted and Vestiaire Collective, come with the plans above Starter.
Vinted, Temu, Square and Amazon.ie, briefly
Vinted runs a dedicated Irish site at vinted.ie, and selling there carries no listing or selling fee. The buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee, usually 5% plus €0.70, on top of the item price at checkout. Sellers can also pay to bump a listing higher in search for a set number of days.
Temu lists Ireland among the countries its local seller programme covers, alongside the UK and most of the EU. Its site region grouping treats Ireland separately from the general EU bloc, so an Irish account is its own market rather than a shared listing pool.
Square in Ireland is payment processing rather than a marketplace: sellers take card payments in person or online and Square takes a cut of each transaction. Its Irish pricing page lists 1.75% plus VAT for a tapped, dipped or swiped card in person, and 1.4% plus 25c plus VAT for an online payment from an EU or EEA card.
Amazon.ie offers the same two plans as every Amazon store. The Individual plan costs €0.99 per item sold, and the Professional plan is a flat €39 a month with no per-item charge, before VAT either way. Referral fees vary by category. Selling fewer than around 35 items a month usually favours Individual; more than that, Professional works out cheaper. Twenty sales a month costs €19.80 on Individual against €39 on Professional, but the line crosses at 40 sales, where both plans cost about the same. Only a Professional account can connect a listing tool like FLUF Connect.
DoneDeal and Adverts.ie: the two FLUF cannot reach
DoneDeal and Adverts.ie are Ireland’s two biggest general classifieds sites, the kind of place people list a car, a sofa or a box of cables nobody else wants shipped. FLUF does not publish listings to either one; if you use them, keep doing that by hand alongside FLUF for your other channels.
DoneDeal’s own pricing post lists Clothes & Lifestyle, Baby & Kids, House & DIY, Sport & Leisure and Music & Education as free sections with ads running for 30 days, and a paid Regular Ad option in other sections at €1 for 60 days with a scheduled bump included. Adverts.ie, based in Dublin, is a separate company with over 850,000 live ads across similar categories, and Similarweb’s Irish classifieds ranking places it as the most-visited classifieds site in the country this year, ahead of Locanto and Vivastreet. Neither company offers a route for a listing tool to publish on their behalf, so an item bound for DoneDeal or Adverts.ie needs its own photos and description typed in directly, same as before you had FLUF.
VAT and Revenue reporting
Two thresholds matter if you are turning a side project into a proper source of income. The first is VAT registration. Revenue’s VAT threshold page puts the register-or-not line at €85,000 for a trader supplying goods, and €42,500 for one supplying services only. That is a different pair of numbers from the UK’s single £90,000 threshold, so a UK figure quoted at an Irish seller is simply the wrong number.
The second is platform reporting under DAC7. Revenue’s excluded sellers page says a seller of goods is left out of reporting only while they stay under both 30 transactions and €2,000 in a reportable period; cross either line on one platform and that platform reports you to Revenue. Revenue is explicit that a report by itself does not create a tax bill: whether you owe anything still depends on whether you are trading, not on being reported.
Selling to Northern Ireland and Great Britain
These look like the same trip and are not. Under the Windsor Framework, goods moving from Ireland into Northern Ireland face no customs declarations, tariffs or checks, so a parcel to Belfast travels the same way as one to Cork.
A parcel to Great Britain is a different matter. It is an export from the EU into a non-EU market, and it needs a customs declaration. On the UK side, GOV.UK’s rule on overseas goods sold directly to UK customers charges UK supply VAT at the point of sale on consignments valued at £135 or less; above that, VAT and duty are usually collected on import instead. Selling to a buyer in Belfast and one in Manchester can therefore mean two different sets of paperwork for what looks like one UK sale.
Shipping with An Post
An Post is the default carrier for most Irish sellers. Its postal rates page prices parcels by weight, shape, size and destination through an online calculator rather than a single flat card. Third-party trackers of the An Post rate guide effective from 3 February 2026 put domestic Standard Post at €9.00 up to 2kg and Registered Post at €13.00 up to 2kg; check the calculator for your own parcel before you promise a buyer a price, since rates changed again this year.
Most of the marketplaces above issue their own label rather than leaving you to book An Post directly. Vinted generates a prepaid label at checkout, and Amazon.ie expects merchant-fulfilled sellers to arrange their own postage, An Post included.
