Sell on E.Leclerc: Joining the E.Leclerc Marketplace as a Professional Seller
Who E.Leclerc accepts, the 48-hour rules for orders and messages, how sellers are rated, what fees integrators report, and what FLUF Connect can list once you are approved.
- E.Leclerc, the French supermarket cooperative, runs a marketplace on e.leclerc where professional sellers from the euro zone, or businesses on the French trade register, sell under their own name.
- Private individuals are not accepted, and marketplace offers are sold online only: they cannot be bought, collected or returned in a Leclerc store.
- You have 48 hours to accept or refuse each order, and 48 hours to answer a customer message. An order you leave unanswered is cancelled automatically.
- Integrators report a €39 a month subscription excluding VAT plus a commission that varies by category. E.Leclerc does not publish a rate card.
- An approved seller can connect their account in FLUF Connect and list stock whose barcodes already exist in the E.Leclerc catalogue. FLUF does not create catalogue products and does not import E.Leclerc orders.
This guide is for a business that already sells new products online and wants a place on the website of France’s largest grocery retailer. It is built mainly on the marketplace section of the E.Leclerc customer help centre, read in October 2026, which sets out the rules sellers are held to from the shopper’s side. If you sell second-hand items as a private person, the marketplace is closed to you; Leboncoin or Vinted are the places to start.
What the E.Leclerc marketplace is
The help centre describes the marketplace as a service offered only online, to give shoppers a wider catalogue from professional sellers who “have been carefully selected”. On a product page, a marketplace offer carries the line “Vendu et expédié par” followed by the seller’s name, and the same wording appears again at checkout. Each seller has a page with a description of the business, its delivery methods, its own terms of sale and the ratings and comments left by customers.
Two rules set it apart from the stores. Prices on the marketplace are set freely by each seller and are not valid in a Leclerc shop, and nothing bought from a marketplace seller can be returned to a store. Customers who walk into their local hypermarket with a parcel from you will be sent back to their online account. The same product can also be offered by several sellers at different prices and delivery terms.
Third-party integrators who connect sellers to the marketplace give different traffic figures. Lengow cites an average of 15.8 million visits a month at the start of 2026. E.Leclerc has not published a figure of its own, so treat that as an estimate.
Who can sell
The help centre lists who the sellers are: professional sellers only, with private sellers “not admitted”, based in the euro zone or able to show registration on the French trade register. Each seller is responsible for the legal guarantees and the conformity of the products it offers. A business in the UK, Switzerland or Poland that has no French registration does not fit that wording.
E.Leclerc does not publish an online sign-up form. Integrators describe the first step as contacting the retailer to confirm that your business and range are eligible. Have your registration number, VAT number, product categories and links to the shops you already run ready for that conversation.
Fees
There is no official rate card. Lengow and e-tailize both give a monthly subscription of €39 excluding VAT, with no setup fee and no minimum term, plus a commission set by product category when the account is opened. Lengow’s seller guide puts typical rates between 5% and 20%. Ask for the subscription, the commission on each of your categories and the payout schedule in writing before you sign, because none of it is public.
The 48-hour rules
Most of what the help centre says about sellers comes down to speed. The first rule is order acceptance. Before the customer’s card is charged, the seller must confirm the item is in stock. Each seller has 48 hours to accept or refuse an order, and after that the order is cancelled automatically. A refused order is never charged to the customer, but it counts against you: E.Leclerc rates every seller on its order acceptance rate.
The second is customer messages. Sellers must reply within 48 hours at most. Miss that and E.Leclerc sends you an alert asking you to correct it. If the customer still gets nowhere, they can call the E.Leclerc service desk, which says it will contact you and look for a solution to the dispute.
These rules matter most if the same stock is for sale elsewhere. A product that sells on another channel at night and is still showing on e.leclerc in the morning becomes a refused order, and refusals are measured.
How sellers are assessed
E.Leclerc says it checks service quality continuously. Sellers are assessed on five criteria: the average rating left by buyers, the number of sales, how quickly orders are accepted and shipped, whether the delivery times shown are met, and the quality of customer service and after-sales support. A seller that falls short on any of them receives an alert and is expected to improve.
Delivery, cancellations and returns
You choose your delivery prices, methods and carriers, and you prepare and ship every order yourself. Your returns and after-sales terms are also yours to set, within French law.
Cancellation depends on where the order is. Before you accept it, the customer can cancel with one button. After you accept, they have to message you to ask. Once the parcel is with the carrier, they can refuse delivery or leave it uncollected, and it comes back to you.
For returns, the minimum is the legal period of 14 days from the date the customer receives the order. The customer opens the request from their account, using the “Retour ou réclamation” button, and you send the return instructions once you accept it. Return postage can vary with each seller’s own terms, so state yours clearly on your seller page.
Is E.Leclerc right for you?
It suits a registered business in the euro zone or in France with new, barcoded products, its own warehouse and carrier contracts, and someone who checks orders and messages every day, weekends included. It suits less well a seller who ships once or twice a week, a business outside the euro zone without French registration, or anyone selling one-offs. Other French retailers with a marketplace are covered in Sell on Auchan and Sell on Carrefour.
Using FLUF Connect with E.Leclerc
E.Leclerc chooses its sellers, so FLUF has no application link for it. On the Channels screen in FLUF Connect, the E.Leclerc card is marked “Invite only” and covers one country, France. Once you are accepted and your products are in the E.Leclerc catalogue, choose “Already approved? Connect” on the card.

FLUF can then list items from your inventory that already exist in the E.Leclerc catalogue, matched by barcode. A product with no barcode, or one the catalogue does not hold, will not list. The price you set in FLUF goes with the listing, and you can see on the product page what other sellers charge for the same item.
| Task | On E.Leclerc through FLUF Connect |
|---|---|
| Apply and get accepted as a seller | You do this with E.Leclerc |
| Connect your approved seller account | Yes, from the Channels screen |
| List stock that the catalogue already holds, by barcode | Yes |
| Create new products in the catalogue | No |
| Detect E.Leclerc sales or import orders | No. Accept and manage orders in your E.Leclerc seller account. |
| Relisting or offer management | No |
Because FLUF does not see E.Leclerc orders, a sale there does not lower the quantity on your other channels. If the same kettle is also on Amazon, reduce the stock yourself after each E.Leclerc order, or set aside a separate allocation for E.Leclerc. That protects your acceptance rate more than anything else on this page.
FLUF’s plans for businesses selling on several channels are on the pricing page. Start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month to see the Channels screen with your own stock.
