AI Listing Generator — Create eBay, Vinted & Depop Listings from Photos
Upload photos of an item and FLUF writes the title, description, category, brand, size, condition and a suggested price. Check it, then list it on eBay, Vinted, Depop, Etsy, Shopify and more.
- What it does: Upload photos of an item and FLUF suggests the title, description, category, brand, size, colour, condition and a price. You check it, then list it on your connected marketplaces.
- Any product type: Clothing, shoes, electronics, homeware, toys, books, media, beauty, sports gear, car parts. The suggestions follow the item, not a fashion template.
- Your house style: Save listing rules (“start every title with the brand”) and every new listing follows them. Pick the language the AI writes in.
- Several items at once: Drop up to 120 photos and FLUF groups them into separate products, or import a CSV, Excel file, Google Sheet or ZIP of photos.
- Where it works: On the web at fluf.io/connect and in the FLUF Connect app for iPhone and Android.
- Cost: Starter includes 50 AI creations a month and Pro 250. Writing a listing yourself and crosslisting listings you already have never use the allowance. 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
What Is the AI Listing Generator?
The AI listing generator is the Create screen in FLUF Connect. You add photos of an item, FLUF reads them and fills in the listing for you: a search-friendly title, a description, the category, brand, size, colours, condition and a suggested price in your currency. You correct anything that is wrong, then publish it to the marketplaces you have connected, such as eBay, Vinted, Depop, Etsy, Shopify and Facebook Marketplace.
Writing listings is where most resale time goes. Each item needs a title buyers will search for, honest condition notes, the right category and the details every marketplace asks for in its own way. FLUF does the first draft from your photos so you spend your time checking, not typing.
Once an item exists in FLUF, the rest of FLUF’s tools work on it: crosslisting to 70+ marketplaces, inventory sync so a sale on one channel removes it from the others, Smart Pricing and auto-relisting.
How It Works: Photos to a Live Listing
- Add your photos. Open Listings → Create and upload up to 20 photos for one item, or take them in the app. The first photo is the main one; drag to reorder.
- Analyse with AI. FLUF reads every photo, including labels, tags and visible flaws, and fills in the listing fields.
- Add your notes (optional). Type anything the photos cannot show, such as a flaw, the price you want or measurements. The AI uses what you write over what it guesses.
- Review and edit. Check the brand, size and condition, add anything you can verify yourself, and fix what the AI got wrong.
- Choose where to list. Tick your connected marketplaces and start crosslisting. You can see each item’s progress in the listings log.

What the AI Fills In
| Field | What you get |
|---|---|
| Title | Written for search: brand, colour, item type, size and the main feature, in the order buyers type them |
| Description | Condition and visible flaws, the material from the care label when it is in the photos, and the item’s notable features |
| Category | A top-level category and the specific product type |
| Brand, size, colour, department | Read from labels, tags and the item itself |
| Condition | Brand new, like new, or used: excellent, good or fair |
| Price | A suggested price in your currency. You can switch price suggestions off |
| Measurements | Only when a tape measure or ruler is visible in the photo. FLUF does not guess measurements |
| Item details | Category-specific details such as storage, RAM and model for electronics, or volume for beauty products |
AI can misread a brand, a material or the condition. Treat the result as a first draft and check it before you publish, just as you would check a listing someone else wrote for you.
Built for Any Product, Not Just Clothes
FLUF writes for what is in the photo, whatever you sell:
- Electronics — model, storage, colour and condition in the title, with the specs in the description
- Home and furniture — material, style and dimensions where a measure is visible
- Bags, hats and belts — the measurements buyers ask for on those items
- Toys, games, books and media — title, edition and platform details
- Beauty — product, shade and volume
- Sports gear, vehicle parts and everything else — the details that identify the item
Listing Rules, Custom Fields and Languages
Listing rules tell the AI how you want listings written: “Start every title with the brand, then the item type”, “Read the material from the wash-tag photo”, “Describe in a casual, friendly tone”. Save a rule once and every new listing follows it. You can add rules that apply only to one brand, category or marketplace, and change the instruction for a single item when you regenerate it.
Custom fields add the details that matter for what you sell, such as model, year, fit or material, and FLUF fills them in from the photos along with the standard fields.
AI writing language sets the language titles and descriptions are written in. FLUF writes in 36 languages, so you can create listings directly in Italian for Subito, French for Leboncoin or Polish for Vinted. To write in your own language and send each marketplace a translation instead, use Translate listings when crosslisting.
Every Way to Create Listings in FLUF
| Method | Best for |
|---|---|
| AI from photos (web) | One item at a time at your desk, up to 20 photos per item |
| AI from photos (mobile app) | Photographing and listing as you go, on iPhone or Android. The form saves as you type, so closing the app does not lose your work |
| Batch photo drop | A photo session of several items: drop up to 120 photos, FLUF groups them into products for you to check, then creates them all |
| Phone as a studio camera | A fixed photo setup: your phone on a tripod, the shutter on your laptop, and each shot lands on the laptop’s Create screen. How it works |
| Spreadsheet import | Stock you already have in a CSV, Excel file or Google Sheet, up to 5,000 rows, with photos from a ZIP. FLUF matches your columns to its fields. Import guide |
| Manual entry | Writing it yourself. It never uses your AI allowance |
| Zapier and n8n | Creating listings from another app in your workflow. See Zapier and n8n |
Already selling on a marketplace? You don’t need to create those listings again. Import your existing listings into FLUF and crosslist them from there.

One Listing, Ready for Each Marketplace
Every marketplace wants something slightly different. eBay asks for item specifics, Vinted has required dropdowns for some categories, and Etsy, Depop and Facebook Marketplace each have their own category trees. You create the item once in FLUF, and FLUF prepares it for each marketplace you pick, filling in that marketplace’s category and details from your listing. Where a marketplace still needs something from you, the form asks for it before you publish.
You can also give each marketplace its own title and description or its own price, and correct a category or brand match once so it sticks for next time.
Review Before Anything Goes Live
Turn on Review before listing and crosslisting saves drafts instead of publishing straight away. You edit, approve or delete them, one at a time or in bulk, on the web or in the app. It works for Depop, eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Grailed, Gumtree, Kijiji, Shopify, Vestiaire Collective, Vinted and Whatnot.
When a marketplace refuses a listing for something you can fix, such as the title, price or size, it waits in your drafts with the reason and the field to change, so you correct that one thing and send it again.
Photo Tools at Create Time
- Crop, rotate and reorder photos on the create form
- Background removal for a clean white background, which can run on the cover photo of each new listing
- AI photo editing: describe the change you want and save looks you reuse
Background removal and AI photo edits use credits. See credit prices.

Tips for Better AI Listings
- Photograph the labels. Brand tag, size label and care label give the AI the brand, size and material instead of a guess.
- Show the flaws. A close-up of a mark or pull goes into the condition notes, which saves a return later.
- Put a tape measure in one shot if measurements matter. FLUF only writes measurements it can read.
- Use clear, even light and a plain background. You can remove the background afterwards.
- Write a listing rule as soon as you notice yourself making the same edit twice.
- Add a note for anything the photos can’t show, such as “never worn” or the price you want.
