Listing Photo Editing

Best Practices

For Best Results:

• Use clear, well-lit photos
• Product should be main focus
• Avoid cluttered backgrounds
• Higher resolution = better quality
• Leave a little space around the item so the edge of the product is visible

• Combine with white backgrounds for marketplace standards

Tricky Photos

White and pale items. Items shot on white, cream or very light surfaces cut out cleanly, including full-length flat lays of white clothing. This used to be the weak spot — it isn't any more.

If a photo comes back unchanged. Occasionally we'll hand your original photo back exactly as you sent it. That's deliberate, not a failure. If a shot is filled edge to edge with the product — a close-up of fabric, a stitched label, a texture detail — then there's no background in the frame to remove, and cutting one out anyway would eat into the item itself. We'd rather leave a good photo untouched than damage it.

If you want a detail shot with a clean background, either photograph it with a bit of the surface visible around the item, or use a surface with slightly more contrast than the product.

How long it takes. Most photos are done in a second or two. A small number of harder shots take noticeably longer while they get extra attention — that's normal, just let it finish.

Every photo you process is saved to your account — your last 100 removals — so you can come back to them later.

• Compare and undo: your original is never overwritten. Open any photo to flip between the

original and the background-removed version, and download whichever you want.

• Find things fast: sort newest or oldest first, or narrow the list to a date range.
• Bulk download: tick as many photos as you like and download them together as a single

ZIP file. Ticking just one downloads that photo directly.
