Getting Started

Connect Your Account

Go to Instagram
Click Connect Instagram
Authorise FLUF in the Instagram login screen
You'll be redirected back with a green Connected badge showing your Instagram username

Requirements: You need an Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts are not supported by Instagram's API.

Building a Carousel

You can add images from two sources:

From Your Listings

Search for products using the search bar on the left — results appear as you type, with your most recently listed items first
Each result shows the product title and all its images
Click any image to add it to your post, or use Add all to drop in every photo from that product at once (1 to 10 images per post)

From Your Device

On the web: Drag and drop images onto the carousel area, or click the upload icon to browse files
On the app: Tap Upload from Device to pick images from your camera roll (you can select multiple at once)
Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP (max 8MB per image)

You can mix both — add product photos and your own custom images in the same carousel.

Managing Your Carousel

On the web:

Preview — Click any thumbnail to preview it full-size
Navigate — Use the left/right arrows or dot indicators to browse
Remove — Hover over a thumbnail and click the red X
Resize — Drag the handle between the carousel and caption area to adjust the split

On the app:

Reorder — Use the left/right arrows below each thumbnail to change the order
Remove — Tap the red X on any thumbnail
Images appear in a horizontal filmstrip you can scroll through

AI Caption Generation

FLUF can write your Instagram captions for you using AI that actually looks at your images.

Choose a tone from the dropdown:

Engaging — Upbeat, community-focused
Professional — Clean, brand-appropriate
Casual — Relaxed, conversational
Funny — Light-hearted, witty
Minimal — Short, to the point

Optionally add extra instructions (e.g. "mention free shipping" or "include a call to action")
Click Generate

The AI analyses your carousel images and writes a caption that describes what's actually in the photos, with relevant hashtags included.

You can always edit the generated caption before posting.

Posting

Post Now

Build your carousel (at least 1 image)
Write or generate a caption
Click Post Now
Confirm the prompt
Your carousel is published to Instagram and you'll see the post link

Schedule for Later

Build your carousel and caption
Click Schedule (web) or Schedule for Later (app)
Pick a date and time
Click Schedule Post

You'll receive an email confirmation when the post is scheduled, and another when it's published.

Activity Log

On the web: Click the gear icon in the top right. On the app: Scroll down to the Activity Log section and tap to expand.

Each entry shows:

When it was posted or scheduled
A preview of the caption
A link to the published post (if available)
