How to Connect WooCommerce

Connecting WooCommerce to FLUF Connect

If you sell on WooCommerce, FLUF can crosslist your products to Depop, eBay, Etsy, Vinted, Vestiaire and every other channel we support — and keep your stock in step when something sells. You connect with our free WordPress plugin, so there are no API keys to copy or paste anywhere.

Prerequisites

  • WordPress 6.0 or later, with WooCommerce 7.0 or later active
  • Your site served over HTTPS (we won't connect over plain http://)
  • Permalinks set to anything other than "Plain" (Settings → Permalinks)
  • Administrator access to your WordPress site

Connection Steps

Step 1: Install the plugin

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add Plugin
  2. Search for FLUF Connect
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate

You can also download it from wordpress.org/plugins/fluf-connect and upload it manually.

Step 2: Run the readiness check

  1. Go to FLUF Connect in your WordPress sidebar
  2. The page runs a short readiness check — HTTPS, permalinks, WooCommerce version, PHP version
  3. Fix anything showing a red cross, then press Re-run checks

Doing this first saves you a failed connection attempt. The Connect to FLUF button stays greyed out until everything passes.

Step 3: Authorise

  1. Click Connect to FLUF
  2. You'll be sent to FLUF to confirm — sign in if you aren't already
  3. Approve the connection and you'll land back on your own site

That's it. Your store appears on your Channels page and FLUF starts reading your products.

What you can do from inside WordPress

Once connected, two things live in your WordPress admin so you don't have to switch between tabs.

See all your listings — FLUF Connect → Listings

Every product FLUF holds for you, across every connected channel, in one table. Also reachable at Products → FLUF Listings.

  • Search by title or SKU
  • Filter by channel to see just your Depop, eBay or Vinted items
  • Sort by newest, oldest, price or title
  • Click any channel tag to open that listing on the marketplace itself
  • Click a product name for photos, brand, size, condition and description
  • Edit in WooCommerce takes you straight to that product's editor

This screen is read-only — it's there to answer "where is this item listed?" at a glance. To change a listing, use the FLUF dashboard or open the product in WooCommerce.

Crosslist without leaving your product list

On Products → All Products, hover any product and you'll see Crosslist with FLUF. Click it, tick the channels you want, and it's on its way.

To do several at once, tick the products, choose Crosslist with FLUF from the Bulk actions dropdown, and press Apply.

Listing runs in the background, so you can carry on working. Follow progress on your Listings Log.

Keeping stock in step

When an item sells on any connected channel, FLUF updates your WooCommerce stock and takes the listing down elsewhere — so the same item can't sell twice. Orders from your other channels appear alongside your WooCommerce ones in your Orderbook.

Disconnecting

Go to FLUF Connect in your WordPress admin, open Disconnect from FLUF, and confirm. Your products and orders are untouched — only the connection is removed. Deleting the plugin does the same thing.

Troubleshooting

"Connect to FLUF" is greyed out One of the readiness checks is failing. Each failed item tells you what to change. The most common one is a site still running on http://.

The readiness check says the WooCommerce REST API doesn't respond A security plugin (Wordfence, Sucuri, iThemes and similar) is usually blocking it. Allow FLUF Connect through in that plugin's settings, then press Re-run checks.

My store works in a browser, but FLUF says it was blocked Some hosts screen out anything that isn't a person clicking around — your store looks perfectly fine to you while refusing FLUF every time. FLUF gets past most of these on its own; if the block persists, your listings log will say so. Ask your host to let FLUF Connect through to your store's API, then press Re-run checks.

I finished authorising but landed on the wrong site Some hosts and CDNs rewrite the return address. Go back to FLUF Connect in your own WordPress admin — if it shows "You're connected to FLUF", it worked.

My listings screen is empty If you've only just connected, give FLUF a little time to read your catalogue for the first time. If it's still empty after that, check your store still shows as connected on the Channels page.

Products won't crosslist Open the item on your Listings Log — it will tell you what the channel rejected, usually a missing size, brand or category.
