Promote
Buy Google Search Ads for your marketplace listings — drive new buyers from Google straight to your Depop, eBay, Vinted, Etsy, Shopify, Facebook or Temu items.
Navigate to: Promote
How It Works
- Link your Google Ads account — paste your Customer ID once to connect
- Top up your wallet — minimum £10, no subscription, you only spend what you choose
- Pick listings to promote — filter by channel, search by title, multi-select up to a campaign
- Set a daily budget — minimum £1/day per campaign; FLUF takes a 10% management fee on top of ad spend
- Add keywords or generate them with AI — Promote suggests buyer-intent search terms based on your title and category
- Launch — your ads go live on Google Search within minutes
What's in the dashboard
Products tab
Every promotable listing across your connected channels, with channel filter chips, search, and a multi-select bar. Click the Megaphone icon on a row to start a campaign for that single product, or tick several to bundle them.
Campaigns tab
Each campaign shows daily budget, total spend, impressions, clicks, and click-through rate (CTR). Pause/resume with the Play/Pause button; remove with the bin. Campaign stats refresh from Google every 4 hours.
Wallet tab
- Current balance + lifetime deposited and spent
- Top-up quick-amounts: £10 / £25 / £50 / £100 (or custom)
- Auto top-up: when your balance falls below a threshold, automatically reload from your saved card so campaigns never stop mid-day
Optimisation tab
Build rules that adjust campaigns automatically. Example: "If CTR is less than 1% then pause that keyword" or "If a keyword's cost-per-click goes above £0.50, decrease the bid by 20%". Rules run every 6 hours and target individual keywords, not whole campaigns.
Budgets, fees, and how spend works
- Daily budget is the gross amount you authorise per day, including the 10% FLUF management fee
- Actual ad spend = 90% of your daily budget; the remaining 10% covers the service
- Spend is deducted from your wallet daily based on what Google actually charged
- If your wallet runs out, the campaign auto-pauses (both locally and on Google) until you top up
Linking your Google Ads account
You'll need an existing Google Ads account — if you don't have one, create one free at ads.google.com. Then on the Promote page:
- Find your Customer ID in the top-right of your Google Ads dashboard (format:
123-456-7890) - Paste it into the link box on FLUF Promote
- We verify your access and link the account — no payment details leave Google
FLUF never sees or charges your Google Ads billing card. You pay FLUF only for top-ups; FLUF pays Google on your behalf using your wallet balance.
Tips for better-performing campaigns
- Start small — a £1–£3/day budget on one or two listings is enough to see whether keywords work
- Use AI keyword generation as a starting point, then add 3–5 long-tail keywords yourself (e.g. "vintage carhartt jacket size m" converts better than "jacket")
- Add negative keywords for terms that aren't buyer intent — "free", "DIY", "how to" save you money
- Target countries where your channel actually ships — there's no point promoting a UK-only Vinted listing to US buyers
- Set an optimisation rule for CTR-below-1% to pause weak keywords automatically — no babysitting required
Why some channels don't show
Promote pulls from your already-crosslisted inventory. If a channel doesn't appear in the filter, you haven't connected it yet — link it from Channels first, sync once, then return to Promote.
FLUF itself isn't a destination channel for Promote — ads always send buyers to the marketplace listing where the product lives, never to fluf.io.
Pausing or stopping
- Pause keeps the campaign editable and resumable
- Delete ends the campaign on Google (irreversible — you'd need to rebuild it to restart)
- Wallet balance is yours — pausing doesn't refund spend, but no further deductions happen
