Read and reply to messages from your marketplace buyers in one place, without leaving FLUF.

What is the Inbox?
The Inbox is your centralised view of buyer messages across your connected marketplaces. Today it works with Depop; more channels are coming.
You can:
- See every conversation, sorted by most recent activity
- Read the full message thread for any conversation
- Reply directly from FLUF
- Search past conversations by message text or buyer name
Getting Started
Connect Depop
The Inbox needs at least one connected channel to show messages. If you haven't connected Depop yet:
- Go to Channels
- Connect Depop
- Open the Inbox from the sidebar (under Chat → Inbox)
Multiple Stores
If you've connected more than one Depop store, a switcher in the top-right lets you choose which store's inbox you're viewing. Switching is instant — your messages, replies, and search are all scoped to the selected store.
Staff Members
If you've added staff to your account from Settings → Team, they can open the Inbox and reply to messages on your behalf. Replies they send appear on Depop just like ones you send yourself.
Reading & Replying
- The left pane lists conversations with the buyer's name, last message preview, unread badge, and the listing in question.
- Click a conversation to open the full thread on the right.
- The thread starts with your most recent messages — click Load older messages at the top of the thread to pull in earlier ones.
- The conversation list shows your most recent threads — click Load more at the bottom to pull in older conversations.
- Type your reply in the box at the bottom and press Enter to send. Shift + Enter adds a new line.
- Read-only conversations (e.g. messages from Depop's official account) show a notice instead of the reply box.
Search
Use the search bar above the conversation list to find past messages by text or buyer name.
Search looks through every conversation you've already loaded in the Inbox — so if a thread doesn't appear, click Refresh or Load more to pull it in, then search again.
Refreshing
The Inbox refreshes itself every 30 seconds while it's open, so new messages and replies appear automatically. To pull updates immediately, click the Refresh button above the conversation list.
Tips
- The unread badge in the sidebar's Chat menu shows community chat unread count, not Inbox unread. Open the Inbox itself to see buyer-message unread counts.
- Replies sent from FLUF show up on Depop just as if you'd sent them from the Depop app.
- If a conversation suddenly disappears, it usually means the buyer was banned or the listing was removed on Depop's side.
