Work on Two Screens at Once with Split View

Split view puts up to four FLUF screens side by side in one tab, so you can review drafts while watching what's already live, or fix a listing with the orders it produced still on screen.

Turning it on

Open the left sidebar and click Split view at the bottom, just above your login streak. Your screen splits in two: the page you were on stays on the left, and a second screen opens beside it.

Split view needs a reasonably wide window, so it's available on desktop rather than on a phone.

Choosing what each side shows

Every screen has its own small bar along the top. Click the name on the left of that bar to pick a different page — you'll get the same list as your sidebar, and you can start typing to jump straight to one. You can also paste a link to open a FLUF page such as the help centre.

Adding a third and fourth screen

The two icons next to the page name split whichever screen you clicked them on:

  • The first splits it left and right
  • The second splits it top and bottom

Do that twice and you have four screens arranged however suits the job — two tall columns, a row of three, or a two-by-two grid. Both icons grey out once you reach four.

Resizing and closing

  • Drag the line between any two screens to give one more room. Double-click that line to even them out again.
  • reloads just that screen.
  • opens that screen full width and leaves split view.
  • closes that screen. The one marked with a pin is the page you're actually on — closing that one leaves split view altogether.

Things worth knowing

  • Your arrangement is remembered, so it's still there when you come back.
  • Only the pinned screen changes the address in your browser bar. The others are along for the ride, which is why moving around in one never disturbs the others.
  • Marketplaces like Vinted, Depop and eBay don't allow their sites to be shown inside another site, so their pages can't be opened in a split screen. FLUF's own pages all work.
