What is Community Chat?
The FLUF Connect Chat is a community space where:
- Resellers can connect with each other
- Share tips and strategies
- Ask questions and get answers
- Discuss marketplace trends
- Build relationships with fellow sellers
Getting Started
Sign In Required
You must be signed in to participate in chat:
- Navigate to Chat
- If prompted, sign in to your account
- Start chatting!
Sending Messages
- Type your message in the text box
- Press Enter to send
- Messages refresh automatically while you stay on the page
Features
Real-Time Messaging
- Community Chat refreshes automatically while the page is open
- New incoming messages can play a sound if you keep that setting on
- You can also enable browser notifications for messages while you're away from the tab
Chat Identity Controls
- Optionally show your country flag beside your name
- Optionally show a badge for how many sales channels you have connected
- You control both of these in Chat settings, and can switch them off at any time
Pinned Messages
- Important announcements appear as a banner at the top of the chatroom
- Tap the banner to jump to the original message
- Only admins can pin and unpin messages
Reply Privately
- Click the menu on any chatroom message and choose Reply privately
- This opens a direct message with that user, with the original chatroom message attached as a reply preview
- Click the reply preview in the conversation to jump back to the original chatroom message
Notification Badge
- The Chat link shows unread message count
- Visiting chat clears unread count
- Stay informed about community activity
Notification Settings
- Open Chat settings to choose whether message sounds play
- Turn browser notifications on or off for Chat
- Your browser may ask for permission the first time you enable browser notifications
Community Guidelines
Be Respectful:
- Treat others as you want to be treated
- No harassment or bullying
- Keep discussions constructive
Stay On Topic:
- Focus on reselling and FLUF-related topics
- Share helpful tips and experiences
- Ask questions when you need help
No Spam:
- Don't repeatedly post the same message
- Avoid excessive self-promotion
- Keep the chat clean and useful
