Connecting Yaga to FLUF Connect
Yaga is a leading fashion and lifestyle resale marketplace, available in several countries — South Africa (yaga.co.za), Latvia (shopyaga.lv), Estonia (yaga.ee) and Kenya (yaga.co.ke). Connect your Yaga shop using the FLUF Utility Chrome Extension — FLUF works with whichever country's Yaga you sell on, using the right currency and shipping options automatically.

Prerequisites
- Active Yaga seller account with a shop set up
- Google Chrome browser
- FLUF Utility Chrome Extension (installed during connection)
Connection Steps
Step 1: Open Connection Modal
- Navigate to Connect → Channels
- Click Add Channel and select Yaga
Step 2: Install FLUF Utility Chrome Extension
- If the extension isn't detected, click Install Chrome Extension
- You'll be redirected to the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm
- Return to the FLUF Connect window and click Check Again
Step 3: Log Into Yaga
- Choose the country you sell on (South Africa, Latvia, Estonia or Kenya)
- Click Connect to Yaga in the modal
- A new Chrome tab will open at your Yaga site
- Sign in to your Yaga account and browse any page
- FLUF will detect your session automatically — usually within a few seconds
Step 4: Confirmation
- The modal will show Successfully connected to Yaga!
- Return to the Channels page — Yaga will now show as connected
Tip: Make sure you're signed into Yaga in the same Chrome browser where the extension is installed.
What Happens After Connecting
- ✅ Your existing Yaga listings are imported (may take a few minutes)
- ✅ Your shop's default shipping options are imported so new listings match your real preferences (e.g. Paxi, PUDO, Pargo, Aramex, PostNet in South Africa; DPD, Omniva, Smartpost in the Baltics)
- ✅ You can crosslist new items to Yaga
- ✅ Sales on Yaga (and other channels) trigger automatic inventory sync
- ✅ Yaga appears on your Channels page alongside other marketplaces
Sync Behavior
- What syncs: New listings, sold items, price changes, quantity updates
- Currency: Listings use your Yaga site's currency automatically — ZAR (R) in South Africa, EUR (€) in Latvia and Estonia, KES (KSh) in Kenya
- Sold items: When an item sells on another channel, FLUF marks it as sold on Yaga. Yaga's "sold" status can't be undone — you'd need to relist the item to bring it back.
Re-authentication
Yaga sessions can expire. You'll need to reconnect if:
- You change your Yaga password
- Your session expires
- You log out of Yaga manually
How to reconnect:
- Go to Channels
- Click Reconnect on your Yaga card
- Open your Yaga site in Chrome and sign in — your session will be picked up automatically

Channel Settings
Once connected, configure Yaga-specific settings in Channels → Yaga → Settings.
Offer Management
Yaga doesn't support sending offers directly to people who like your items, so FLUF uses the next best thing: a custom message you write is sent to them instead.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Automatic offer management % | Set to 100% to disable. Otherwise, buyer offers at or above this % of your listing price are auto-accepted; offers below are countered at this %. Example: 80% = accept R80+ on a R100 item, counter anything lower at R80. |
| Counter offers | Disable to only auto-accept offers above the threshold (no auto-counters). |
| Message to likers | Custom message sent to users who like your items. Useful for opening a conversation and nudging a sale. |
| Hours before messaging likers | How long to wait after a like before sending the message (default: 1 hour). |
How Yaga Listings Are Built
When crosslisting to Yaga, FLUF maps your product details to Yaga's format:
- Category — auto-mapped from your source channel's category
- Brand — matched against Yaga's approved brand list
- Condition — mapped to New / Like New / Good / Fair
- Colour & material — matched where available
- Size — pulled from your product attributes
- Shipping options — applied from your Yaga shop's defaults
Note: If a brand, colour, or material isn't on Yaga's list, the listing still publishes — just without that attribute tagged. For best search visibility, use standard brand names on your source listing.
Troubleshooting
Extension not detecting Yaga session?
- Make sure you're signed into your Yaga site in the same Chrome where the extension is installed
- Refresh the Yaga tab and browse any page
- Check that the FLUF Utility extension is enabled in
chrome://extensions - Try signing out of Yaga and back in
Connection keeps expiring?
- Sign back into your Yaga site in Chrome and your session will be picked up automatically
Listing published but missing brand, colour, or material?
- The attribute name on your source product didn't match Yaga's list exactly
- Update the attribute on your source listing (use a common spelling like "Nike" not "nike inc.") and relist
Item marked as sold on Yaga but still in stock elsewhere?
- Yaga's "sold" status can't be reversed
- You'd need to manually relist the item on Yaga — FLUF will re-crosslist it on your next run
Not seeing all Yaga listings?
- Import can take a few minutes for large shops
- Only published listings are imported (drafts and sold items are excluded)
