Combine duplicate listings

If you were already selling on eBay, Depop, Vinted, Shopify (and so on) before you joined FLUF, the same physical item often shows up as a separate row for each channel. This guide shows you how to bring those copies together into one listing so FLUF treats them as the single item they really are.

Combining is always safe to try and always reversible — your live marketplace listings are never edited, delisted or sold by this.

What "combining" does

Once two or more listings are combined into one:

• They show as a single row on your Listings page, with a pill for each channel it's on.
• Sales keep stock in sync across the linked channels. When the last unit sells, the item is marked sold on the others.
• Use Edit an existing listing to choose which channels receive your edits.
• You can split them back apart at any time (see "Undoing" below).

It does not touch your actual listings on eBay, Depop, Vinted, etc. Nothing is relisted, edited or removed on the marketplace.

Option 1 — You can see the copies (quickest)

Best when you can spot the duplicates yourself on the Listings page.

1. Go to your Listings page.
2. Tick the box on each row that is the same physical item (the eBay one, the Depop one, the Vinted one…).
3. Open the Actions menu and choose Combine.
4. A box confirms which listing will be kept as the main one — press Combine.

That's it — those rows fold into one.

Option 2 — You have lots, or aren't sure where they are

Best when you sell the same stock across several channels and don't want to hunt row by row.

1. On your Listings page, open the Data menu (top of the page) and choose Find & combine duplicates.
2. Tick the channels you already sell the same items on, then press Start Scan.
3. FLUF refreshes those channels and then shows you each set that looks like the same item, with photos so you can check at a glance. Click any photo to see it full size.
4. For each set: press Combine if it's the same item, or Not the same to skip it. If you're confident, Combine all confident does the clearly-matching ones in one go.

Review the suggested groups and photos before confirming. Only combine listings for the same physical item. If a group looks wrong, skip it and keep those listings separate.

Seeing what's combined, and undoing it

Any combined item shows a "Linked" badge on its Listings row. Click it to see every channel listing that was joined, when, and whether you did it or FLUF matched it for you.

If something was combined that shouldn't have been, click Unlink all on that badge — the listings split straight back into separate rows. Your marketplace listings stay exactly as they were, and FLUF won't quietly re-combine anything you've pulled apart (though you can always combine it again yourself).

Good to know

• You can combine up to 50 listings in one go.
• If FLUF has only just discovered those channel listings, it may import one of them into FLUF first before combining the set.
• If a scan says it can't find your other channel's listings yet, refresh that channel first, then run the scan again.
• If a listing shows a price of 0, or Combine won't go through: that channel's listing hasn't finished syncing into FLUF yet. Refresh that channel, give it a moment, then try combining again.
• Combining works for items you were already selling on a channel before you joined FLUF too.
• Depop SKUs are included when your listings refresh. If you have just added one, refresh Depop before running Find & combine duplicates.
• A Depop listing with stock remaining stays linked after a sale; you do not need to combine it again.

Combine from the Index Browser

FLUF combines listings of the same item across channels automatically. For the cases where it can't tell, you can merge them yourself:

1. Search the Index Browser for the item (e.g. by title or SKU).
2. Tick the checkbox on every row that's the same physical product (the eBay copy, the Vinted copy, the Depop copy, etc.).
3. Click Merge selected on the toolbar that appears at the top.
4. A confirmation dialog shows each row you've selected with a "Primary" badge on the one that will be kept as the main record. Confirm.

After merging:

• The Listings page collapses them into a single row showing all the channel pills.
• A sale on any of those channels will automatically mark sold across the others.
• Use Edit an existing listing to choose where edits are sent.

You can merge up to 50 rows in one go. At least one selected row needs to already be linked to a FLUF product — if every row is brand new from a channel and FLUF hasn't created a record yet, the merge button stays disabled (you'll see a hint in the dialog).
