Getting Started

This guide will walk you through setting up FLUF Connect from scratch. You'll be ready to crosslist in under 10 minutes.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit fluf.io and sign up for a free account.

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
  3. Check your email for verification link
  4. Click the link to verify your account
  5. Choose your plan (Free plan available with no credit card required)
Tip: Use a password manager to generate and store a strong password.

## Step 2: Access the Dashboard

Once logged in, navigate to the FLUF Connect dashboard.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is organized into five main sections:

Navigation Sidebar

  • Dashboard — Analytics, metrics, and overview
  • Channels — Marketplace connections and sync status
  • Listings — All your products across platforms
  • Orders — Centralized order management
  • Settings — Account and preference configuration
    • Note: On mobile, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu for easy navigation.

    Step 3: Connect Your First Marketplace

    Navigate to Channels → Add Channel to begin connecting marketplaces.

  • OAuth authentication (no password stored)
  • Instant webhook-based sync

  • Select marketplace → 2. Authenticate → 3. Grant permissions → 4. Success!
  • Click Add Channel button
  • Select your marketplace from the grid
  • Follow platform-specific authentication:
    • - OAuth platforms (eBay, Shopify): Click "Connect" → Redirected to platform → Log in → Grant permissions

    - Credential platforms (Depop, Vinted): Enter username/password → Click "Connect"

  • Wait for confirmation message
  • Your existing listings will begin importing automatically
    • Warning: For Vinted, avoid enabling 2FA during initial setup as it may complicate the connection process.

    Step 4: Create Your First Listing

    Navigate to Listings → Create to publish your first crosslisting.

    Step-by-Step:

  • Upload Images (minimum 1, recommended 4-8)
    • - First image becomes the main photo

    - Drag to reorder - Clear, well-lit photos perform best

  • Add Product Details
    • - Title: Clear, keyword-rich (e.g., "Vintage Nike Windbreaker Jacket Size M")

    - Price: Your selling price in GBP/USD/EUR - Category: Select from FLUF categories - Condition: Honest assessment (New, Like New, Good, Fair, Poor) - Brand: Start typing for autocomplete

  • Select Channels
    • - Check boxes for each marketplace

    - See price preview with platform fees - Adjust channel-specific prices if needed

  • Review & Publish
    • - Preview your listing

    - Click Create Listing - Watch progress as it publishes to each channel

    Success! Your first crosslisting is live. It typically appears on marketplaces within 30 seconds (API platforms) to 2 minutes (Vinted).

    AI-Powered Creation (Faster)

    For faster listing creation, use AI analysis:

  • Upload product photos
  • Check Enable AI Analysis
  • Click Analyze with AI
  • Wait 10-30 seconds
  • Review and edit AI suggestions
  • Select channels and publish
    • Tip: AI works best with clear photos of brand tags and care labels. Include front, back, and detail shots.

    Step 5: Verify Sync

    After your first sale, verify that inventory sync is working correctly.

    Testing Sync

  • Make a test purchase on one platform (or manually mark as sold)
  • Navigate to Channels → Sync History
  • Verify sync attempts appear in the log
  • Check other platforms to confirm item marked as sold
    • Note: Webhook platforms sync within 1-5 minutes. Polling platforms may take up to 6 hours for first sync.
