How to Connect Back Market
Back Market is the marketplace for refurbished electronics. You need an approved Back Market seller account. Back Market reviews sellers before they can list.
Connect
- In your Back Market seller back office, open the Integrations page and create an API token. Copy it.
- Open FLUF Channels and select Back Market.
- Paste the token, choose the country you sell in, and set your warranty in months (Back Market's minimum is 12).
- Click Connect Back Market. FLUF imports your existing Back Market listings.
Use a token from the same Back Market site you sell on: Europe and the UK, the United States, or Japan and Australia each have their own seller account.
Listing on Back Market
- Each item needs a barcode (EAN or UPC) that matches a product already on Back Market. Add it in the item's barcode field before crosslisting.
- Your item's condition becomes Back Market's grade: like new is Excellent, very good is Very good, good is Good, fair is Fair. Items in worse condition can't be listed.
- New listings take a few minutes to appear. Back Market checks every new listing first, so the item shows as sent for review until it goes live.
- Title, photos and description come from Back Market's product page, which every seller shares. You set the price, stock and warranty.
Sales and stock
- When an item sells on Back Market, FLUF takes it down from your other channels.
- When it sells elsewhere, FLUF sets its Back Market stock to zero, which takes the listing offline. Listing it again brings the same Back Market listing back.
- Price and stock changes you make in FLUF are sent to Back Market.
- Mark an order as shipped in FLUF Orders with its tracking number and FLUF accepts and ships it on Back Market. You can also handle orders in Back Market as usual.
Troubleshooting
- "The API token was rejected": create a new token in Back Market and reconnect.
- "Add the product's EAN/UPC first": add the barcode to the item and crosslist again.
- Listing never appears: the barcode doesn't match a Back Market product, or Back Market declined it. The reason shows in your listings log.
